On 9 November 2024, the Atelier Department for Interdisciplinary History, Eötvös Loránd University visited the Roma community of Tomor, in an excursion organized for the department’s professors, PhD, and MA students. The members of the Romama flat-restaurant and social cooperative organized educative games to learn about local Roma gastronomic and musical heritage and general information on Hungarian Roma history. The participants also shot short videos that highlighted everyday problems of the community such as infrequent bus services to nearby towns.
