ELTE team had the first meeting with the Tomor Roma flat restaurant owners and community members on 15 August 2024. We had a very fruitful discussion with them, in particular with László Siroki, the founder and manager of the place. A lot of activities have been planned for the following months, which include participant observation of the next dinner events, research on the local history including oral history interviews, research on Roma presence in the region, the history of Roma recipes, and further elements of Roma heritage.
