On Thursday, October 16, 2025, the MURUVI Meeting + Conference on Rural Sociology: Women who support communities was held at the Faculty of Science and Sociology of the University of Granada. The event brought together researchers, institutions and collectives to reflect on the role of women in the sustainability of rural settings and their contribution to the community fabric.
Elena Correa participated in the conference with the presentation Recovering irrigation channels, reviving communities: the University in water landscapes to mark Rural Women's Day.
